Tucson: Day 4

We had a nice day, but very little happened.

We had coffee and I made Scott breakfast. We did laundry. Then Scott headed to the pool to read, and I got out my stuff to practice. But then I thought I'd call the mobile RV repair guy we saw in the KOA and get an appointment scheduled to fix our furnace. He answered and said he could be there in 5 minutes.

He was a nice guy, Mark, and he clearly knew his stuff. Our stuff was complicated, unfortunately, and it took 2 hours including a trip to the parts store. He worked hard and fast the whole time, got it fixed, and gave us good advice for using the propane tanks. Whew, it was expensive. I also didn't get to practice. But I'm glad it is fixed.

Scott got some important projects done. I'm sorry, but who paints their shoes?

Scott, that's who. What a weirdo. They were such a nice purple color. They don't look too bad now actually.

Let's see, the rest of the day included more reading, some practice time for me, a bike ride around the KOA, a nice dinner, a fire, and because nothing else too exciting happened, some ice cream.

We did play cards after that, and we watched a movie. Well, I watched a movie. I should have know he'd be asleep in 5 minutes. And he was. It was the 90-minute version of the Little Princess. I've seen it before, but I wanted something wholesome and normal and heartwarming, and I thought he might enjoy it. We had to pay for it on top of the Prime subscription, which aggravates me, but at least there were no ads.
