Tucson: Day 2

We slept well, had coffee early, and I made Scott French toast. Then he started working on his bike. He saw a roadrunner!

You know he fixed it. It took him less than an hour. Our neighbor was nice enough to lend him his Allen wrenches, and Scott used a block of wood as a sledgehammer of sorts and his cordless drill, which had enough power in it fortunately to do what he needed. He got the extension bar in, drilled a hole, and added a bolt.

The Tempe bike shop did not return all the parts, so he could not attach his front brakes. But he only ever uses his back brakes, fortunately, which he hooked back up.

Then we headed out and had a super nice ride around the KOA campground. It's sunny and a lovely temperature.

When we got back, Scott fixed the stove. It was the propane connection again, not the stove. Then I ate lunch and Scott had a snack and read. Then he went to the pool to read while I practiced.

When he got back, we went for another long bike ride! The temperature was perfect and there was a slight breeze. Exceedingly fun. I noticed 15 more license plates I hadn't remembered before. Some might be new arrivals, but some I'm sure were here this morning. I think it's utterly amazing how many people from all over are here.

Then I warmed up some leftovers and we had dinner.

After that we played cards. Then Scott and I went to the hot tub. He got in and I sat next to it. When he was done, he got out for a shower.

When we got back, we watched a movie, George and the Dragon. It was not too bad.
