In the past two days, Scott has finished the siding on the nature-preserve side of the house, covered the tubing from generators and HVAC, removed more of the decking on the riverbank, and taken down growth to the right of the old deck.

Scott spent two days there this weekend and almost got the siding on the nature-preserve side of the house done...but not quite. The siding work seems endless! The first day he did the pump house. He had to do it because the siding will not line up continuously from the sunroom wall around the pump house walls and then around to the front of the house. But he made the "adjustment" so to speak at the corner on the nature-preserve side so that the front of the house will have continuous-looking siding all the way across. The second day, he did the soffits and made progress on the big side of the house. Pump House and Day 1 SidingHere's where the siding does not line up. The sacrifice is here so it's lined up on the front of the house. Soffits and Day 2 SidingOn Tuesday, Scott prepped the surfaces of the pump house, did some more siding on the nature-preserve side of the house, got stung by a wasp, and took a picture of an egret.
On Monday, Scott started the siding on the nature-preserve side of the house. He prepped the surface, inspected the water-table boards, fixed the rot he found, and started the siding. But first, he took down the flagpole and improved the view from the sunroom.
On Sunday, Scott finished the siding on the neighbor's side of the house, did the soffits, and mowed the lawn.
Scott headed to the river house before the sun was up, worked all day, and almost finished the siding on the chimney side of the house.
On Tuesday, Scott started the siding on the other side of the chimney. He has to work around a lot of things on that wall like electrical boxes.
Scott was working at the house and he spotted this kitty relaxing inside. He said he's seen it around the yard before. I have named him Darth Kitty. I hope he ate his fill of mice!
On Monday, Scott finished siding to the left of the chimney, finished the soffit above it, and covered the water-table boards on that side of the house.
On Saturday, Scott got about halfway up the other back side of the house flanking the sunroom. He also did the soffit there. On Sunday, he finished that side. And then he started on the chimney side of the house.
